We have some amazing supporters including these great kids and teens:
Bishop Moore High School has now formed a “Haddis Club” and have already helped by packing nearly 300 school supply bags for our trip. Our kids were thrilled to receive them.
In the fall, a sweet group of homeschool students and their moms made jewelry and sold it at craft fairs raising $1300. They donated it to be used as needed. On our trip, we met a 6 year old little girl, who dreams of being a teacher, who broke her leg a year ago and now has a severely disfigured leg. With their donation, we will be able to send Rediet to the Cure Hospital in Addis to seek treatment to repair her leg! Deuteronomy 31:8 reminds us that the Lord himself goes before us and is with us-we praise God that we already had these funds and will be able to help Rediet and we pray for her complete and total healing.
Finally, college student and athlete Josue Avendano used his gift of running to raise money at his 2nd annual race to support his sponsor child Fasil. We are thankful for his commitment to Fasil and the awareness he is bringing through his advocacy.
